Auryel Ring
$0.01
A swirling band of 18k gold sculpted like a current of captured wind, rising to hold a single ruby, sapphire, or diamond at its centre. The Auryel ring is named for Aura, the Greek Titaness of the breeze — motion drawn into a perfect circle.
Made to order in São Paulo in rose, white, or yellow gold.
Auryel ring takes its name from Aura — the Greek Titaness of the breeze and the cool, fresh air of early morning. She was the daughter of the Titan Lelantos, a swift virgin huntress and companion of Artemis who was said to run as fast as the wind itself. The Greeks did not imagine air as empty: every gust that moved across the earth carried her invisible presence, delicate yet untamed, gentle yet unstoppable.
When her story ended she was dissolved back into motion — a current of air, a flowing stream, something felt everywhere and held nowhere. There is a quiet poetry in giving that idea the form of a ring, because a circle has no beginning and no end, and neither does the wind.
The Design of the Auryel Ring
The Auryel ring translates Aura’s myth into a band that seems to move. The gold is sculpted so that it swirls and folds around the finger like a current of air caught mid-motion, rising at its crown to cradle a single gemstone held as the still point at the centre of the breeze.
Where most rings sit static on the hand, the Auryel ring reads as something in motion that has paused just long enough to be worn — structure giving shape to a force that resists being held. The surface catches light along its curves, so the band appears to shift and breathe as the hand moves, never quite settling into stillness.
Stillness in Motion
The contrast between the moving band and the fixed central stone is the soul of this design — motion encircling stillness, the restless wind drawn into a perfect circle around a single point of light. Worn on the hand, the Auryel ring turns with every gesture, its curves catching and releasing the light so that no two glances find it quite the same.
It is a piece that rewards a second look: composed and quiet from a distance, alive and moving up close — the very paradox of Aura herself, the goddess who was everywhere felt and nowhere fixed.
Auryel Ring in 18k Gold and Colored Stones
In rose gold the band glows with warmth and is set with a ruby, the stone reading like the first warm light over the horizon. In white gold the Auryel ring turns cool and luminous around a sapphire, like air moving over water at dawn.
In yellow gold it radiates full intensity, set with a brilliant diamond — the clearest echo of Aura herself, goddess of the light-filled morning air. Each pairing of metal and stone gives the same design a different temperament, from warm to cool to radiant, while the swirling form stays constant.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each Auryel ring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil.
The swirling band demands digital modeling: the folds of gold must flow continuously without a visible seam, the setting must hold its stone securely while appearing almost weightless, and the proportions must remain comfortable to wear all day. Hand-finishing then polishes the curves to a high shine that makes the metal seem to carry light along its length.
This is the kind of precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
Like every Friszman MD creation, the Auryel ring is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold, conceived where mythology, archaeology, and sacred geometry meet.
