Dhanush ring takes its name from the Sanskrit word for bow. In Hindu tradition, the dhanush is far more than a weapon. It is a symbol of dharma — of purpose aligned with cosmic order.

The greatest heroes of the two epics each carried a legendary bow. Arjuna bore the Gandiva in the Mahabharata, a weapon forged by Brahma and capable of releasing a hundred thousand arrows at once. Rama strung the Pinaka, the sacred bow of Shiva, when no other man could lift it — and in doing so, won both his future queen and his destiny.

However, these bows were not simply powerful. They were expressions of the archer’s inner state: steadiness, focus, and an unshakeable sense of purpose.

The Design of the Dhanush Ring

The Dhanush ring translates the bow’s arc into a two-tone band of 18k gold. The design is organic and sculptural. It sweeps around the finger in a single continuous curve, rising slightly at the crown in a form that suggests both the drawn bow and the moment of release.

Two tones of gold run through the piece — one warm, one cool — so the band reads as both unified and in motion.

As a result, the Dhanush ring carries visual tension without weight. It sits on the hand the way a great bow sits in the hands of its bearer: perfectly balanced, completely at rest, ready.

Tension and Balance

The contrast between the two gold tones is central to this design. Specifically, the interplay of warm and cool creates a sense of movement within a form that is otherwise still. Worn on the hand, the Dhanush ring changes as the light shifts around it.

Each tone catches the light differently, so the band seems to breathe.

Furthermore, the organic, sweeping profile means no two angles look exactly the same. It is bold in its silhouette yet refined in its detail — a ring that rewards careful attention as much as a first glance.

Dhanush Ring in 18k Gold

The Dhanush ring is crafted as a two-tone combination. In rose gold and white gold, the warm arc plays against a cool contrast, like firelight beside still water.

In yellow gold and white gold, the Dhanush ring radiates with full intensity. The white gold detail reads as the bowstring — taut, precise, essential.

In either combination, the two tones work together rather than against each other.

Therefore, the design feels complete rather than divided, a single gesture expressed in two voices.

Craftsmanship and 3D Precision

Each Dhanush ring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and careful hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil.

The sweeping curve requires digital modeling to maintain its organic flow.

Every point of the arc must be consistent, and the two-tone finish must meet cleanly at the point of transition. Additionally, the two rings in a pair must mirror each other perfectly in weight and profile.

Hand-finishing polishes both tones to a high shine. This is the precision that the Friszman MD process delivers reliably.
