Description

Taurus Ring takes its name from the second sign of the zodiac — the bull, the earth sign ruled by Venus, the sign associated with patience, beauty, pleasure, and the kind of strength that does not need to make noise.

In Greek mythology, Taurus is identified with the magnificent white bull that Zeus became when he sought to approach Europa — so beautiful, so gentle in its manner, so completely reassuring that the princess approached without fear and allowed herself to be carried to the sea and across to the island of Crete.

As a result, Taurus carries this doubled quality: the bull’s tremendous physical power contained within a gentleness of manner, the beauty of Venus combined with the earthward solidity of the earth element.

Furthermore, the constellation Taurus is notable in the night sky beyond its zodiac significance: it contains the Pleiades, the Hyades, and the red super giant Aldebaran, one of the fifteen stars of ancient astrology.

It is one of the oldest identified constellations, recognized across cultures from Mesopotamia to Greece to the Indigenous peoples of the Pacific. The Taurus Ring carries the glyph of that ancient recognition: the circle of the bull’s head with its two horns curving upward, the most patient sign drawing its form toward the sky.

The Design of the Taurus Ring

The Taurus Ring translates the bull’s glyph into 18k gold. The band carries the Taurus symbol in raised relief: the circle of the bull’s head with two curved lines rising from its upper edge as horns, the visual form of the second zodiac sign in its most immediate reading.

The glyph sits on a sculpted band that follows the curvature of the finger with composed, earthy weight. As a result, the Taurus Ring reads as both zodiac talisman and declaration: the sign worn by those who understand that the most powerful force is the one that does not stop.

The Bull and the Earth Sign

The Taurus glyph is the soul of this design. Specifically, the circle with horns creates a form that is both stable and directional — the circle as the earth sign’s quality of containment, the upward horns as the bull’s quality of readiness.

Worn on the finger, the Taurus Ring carries the glyph facing outward, the horns always visible in their upward orientation.

Furthermore, the raised relief of the glyph catches the light from above while the surrounding band reflects from its polished surface, so the symbol reads with particular clarity.

In this way, the Taurus Ring carries the essential quality of its sign: the beauty of Venus, the strength of the earth, and the patience of the bull who knows that what matters is not how fast but how sure.

Taurus Ring in 18k Gold

In rose gold the glyph glows with warmth, the circle and horns reading vivid against the warm surface, carrying the Venusian quality of the earth sign at its most sensuous.

In white gold the Taurus Ring turns cool and precise, the glyph reading with the clarity of something carved in stone. In yellow gold it radiates with full golden intensity — the earth sign in the most material of metals, the bull’s power at its most present.

Whichever metal you choose, the glyph holds its ground.

Craftsmanship and 3D Precision

Each Taurus Ring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing. The raised glyph demands digital modeling: the circle and its two horns must be placed with precision so the symbol reads as the actual Taurus glyph, the relief must be deep enough to cast clear shadows, and the band must sit comfortably for daily wear.

Hand-finishing polishes both the raised glyph and the surrounding band to a high shine. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
