In Greek mythology, the scorpion was placed in the sky as a commemoration of its role in the death of Orion: the great hunter who was struck by a scorpion’s sting, some say sent by Artemis, some say by Gaia, when his pride had grown beyond what the earth could sustain.

As a result, Orion and Scorpio are forever on opposite sides of the sky, never visible at the same time: the hunter and the thing that ended him, in perpetual opposition. Furthermore, Scorpio is the sign of the zodiac that the other signs most respect and most fear — because it carries the truth that most of them prefer to avoid.

As a water sign, Scorpio does not move across the surface but goes to the bottom, to the place where things are as they actually are rather than as they appear. The Scorpio Ring carries the glyph of that depth: the letter M with its stinger pointing upward, the form that reads as both receptive and lethal.

The Design of the Scorpio Ring

The Scorpio Ring translates the scorpion’s glyph into 18k gold. The band carries the Scorpio symbol in raised relief: the distinctive M-form with its final stroke turning upward and ending in a point, the stinger that gives the glyph its particular character — contained until the last moment, and then decisive.

The glyph sits on a sculpted band that follows the curvature of the finger with composed weight. As a result, the Scorpio Ring reads as both zodiac talisman and personal declaration: the sign worn by those who are comfortable with what it means.

The Depth Sign

The Scorpio glyph is the soul of this design. Specifically, the M-form with its upward stinger creates a visual form that reads as both grounded and pointed — the broad base of the M and the decisive upward turn of the stinger.

Worn on the finger, the Scorpio Ring carries the glyph facing outward. Furthermore, the raised relief of the glyph catches the light at its highest points while the surrounding band reflects evenly, so the symbol reads with particular clarity and presence.
