Haygees Pendant
$0.01
A celestial pendant in 18k gold, its form drawn from the constellation of Orion — known in Armenian tradition as Hayk, the legendary patriarch and great archer who founded the Armenian nation. The Haygees pendant connects the wearer to one of the oldest stories of origin and the stars that carry it.
Made to order in rose, white, or yellow gold.
Haygees pendant takes its name from Hayk — also known as Haig, the legendary patriarch and founding figure of the Armenian people, whose story is one of the oldest origin myths in the world. In the Armenian epic tradition, Hayk was a great bowman and warrior who led his people from Babylon to the mountains of Ararat, where he established the Armenian nation.
His greatest deed was the defeat of the Babylonian giant Bel, whom he struck with a long-shafted arrow at great distance. As a result of this victory, Hayk became the symbol of Armenian identity and independence.
Furthermore, in the Armenian astronomical tradition, Hayk is identified with Orion — the great hunter constellation whose belt of three stars has guided travelers and warriors across the night sky for thousands of years.
In Armenian, Orion is called Hayk, and his constellation carries the same qualities as the legend: strength, precision, and the ability to hold a line against overwhelming force.
The Design of the Haygees Pendant
The Haygees pendant translates the constellation of Hayk into 18k gold. The form is celestial and elegant — a pendant that maps the stars of Orion into a wearable piece, its shape drawn from the geometry of the night sky.
The three stars of Orion’s belt, among the most recognizable points in the sky, anchor the design. As a result, the Haygees pendant reads as both astronomical and personal: a piece of the sky brought close to the body.
Therefore, it connects the wearer to one of the oldest stories of origin and belonging in the world.
The Archer and the Stars
The constellation form is the soul of this design. Specifically, the arrangement of stars that has borne Hayk’s name for millennia is expressed here in gold, so that the pendant carries both an astronomical meaning and a mythological one.
Worn close to the body, the Haygees pendant catches the light at its star points as the wearer moves. Furthermore, the celestial form rewards those who know its story and carries its own beauty for those who do not.
In this way, it shares the quality of the stars themselves: present and luminous for anyone who looks up, and carrying deeper meaning for those who know the names.
Haygees Pendant in 18k Gold
In rose gold the celestial form glows with warmth, the star points reading intimate and close, like firelight on the face of a traveler navigating by Orion. In white gold the Haygees pendant turns cool and precise, the points catching light with the cold clarity of stars on a clear night
In yellow gold it radiates with full intensity — the most direct echo of Hayk’s constellation at its most vivid, rising in the east on a winter night above the mountains of Ararat. Whichever metal you choose, the stars hold their positions.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each Haygees pendant was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing. The constellation form demands digital modeling: every star point must be placed at the correct angle and spacing so the arrangement reads as recognizable, and the piece must hang correctly so the intended orientation faces outward when worn.
Additionally, the pendant must carry its visual complexity without feeling heavy. Hand-finishing then polishes every surface to a high shine. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
Like every Friszman MD creation, the Haygees pendant is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold.
