Eridanus Pendants

Gold pendant Eridanus takes its name from one of the longest rivers in the night sky, the constellation Eridanus, a great celestial waterway that winds from the foot of Orion southward across the sky to Achernar, one of the brightest stars visible from Earth. In Greek mythology, Eridanus was the river into which Phaethon fell,the young son of Helios who borrowed his father’s sun chariot, lost control of the horses of the sun, and was struck from the sky by Zeus’s thunderbolt before he could set the world ablaze. The river caught him. The sky remembered him as a constellation. This gold pendant carries that ancient story: the primordial river, the fall from light, the earth that endures when everything else has burned.

Eridanus is a meditation on the primordial. A circular disc of pure gold frames an organic form, ancient, textured, alive, as if sculpted by time itself rather than by human hands. The texture within the frame does not repeat and does not resolve into pattern. It breathes. It shifts. The Eridanus gold pendant was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil. The organic texture within the circular frame required careful digital modeling, structured enough to hold its integrity across production, free enough to feel genuinely untamed. The circular frame itself is clean and precise, the contrast between its polished edge and the organic interior essential to the piece. Without that contrast, the interior would have no context. With it, the tension between the wild and the contained becomes the meaning of the design.

Available in Rose Gold, White Gold, and Yellow Gold, each finish transforms the character of the piece. Rose gold gives the organic interior a warmth that makes it feel alive in a specifically earthly way, like river clay, like warm stone, like something dug from the ground at the edge of water. White gold makes the piece more celestial, the cool precision of the frame now reading as sky rather than earth, the organic interior more mysterious against it. Yellow gold is the most mythological of the three, ancient, solar, the color of the river that caught Phaethon when the sun came too close to the ground.
