Prahimee Pendant

An organic pendant in 18k gold with polished ovals and recessed circles, its form drawn from Prithvi — the Hindu earth goddess, the sacred ground that sustains all life.
Made to order.
Prahimee Pendant takes its name from Prithvi — the great earth goddess of the Hindu and Vedic traditions, one of the five sacred elements and the mother of all living things. In the Vedas, Prithvi Mata — Mother Earth — is invoked as the patient, sustaining ground: the one who holds the weight of everything that grows, who receives the dead and gives birth to the living, whose abundance is the abundance of the whole world.
She is vast, generous, and uncomplaining. As a result, Prithvi carries a quality of sacred groundedness — the earth not as inert matter but as active, living presence, the mother who sustains existence without requiring acknowledgement.
Furthermore, Prithvi is one of the Pancha Bhuta — the five great elements of Hindu cosmology: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Her element is not merely the physical ground but the principle of solidity, of form having weight and dimension, of things being located and real.
The Prahimee Pendant carries the visual language of Prithvi’s earth: the organic oval forms of seeds and stones, the recessed circles of water pooled on flat ground, the polished and matte surfaces that describe the difference between reflection and absorption.
The Design of the Prahimee Pendant
The Prahimee Pendant translates the organic forms of the earth into 18k gold. The pendant carries polished ovals — smooth, rounded shapes that read as seeds, stones, or the curved forms of terrain seen from above — set against recessed circles whose matte finish absorbs the light rather than reflecting it.
The interplay of polished and matte creates a surface of depth and variation, like the surface of fertile ground that carries both the smooth and the rough, the reflective and the absorbed.
As a result, the Prahimee Pendant reads as both jewellery and map: a miniature landscape of the living earth worn close to the body.
The Sacred Ground
The polished ovals and recessed circles are the soul of this design. Specifically, the contrast between the high-polished oval surfaces and the matte recessed areas creates a visual texture that rewards close attention: the ovals seem to float above the recessed ground, the way a stone sits on the surface of still water.
Worn close to the skin, the Prahimee Pendant carries the warmth of the gold against the body with the quiet authority of something that has always been close to the earth. Furthermore, the organic form of the pendant — its ovals not perfectly geometric but slightly varied, like the forms of natural objects — gives it the quality of something found rather than fabricated.
In this way, the Prahimee Pendant carries Prithvi’s essential quality: the beauty that belongs to the ground itself.
Prahimee Pendant in 18k Gold
In rose gold the ovals and circles glow with warmth, the polished surfaces reading rich against the recessed matte areas, like fertile earth in afternoon sun. In white gold the Prahimee Pendant turns cool and luminous, the polished ovals catching light with the clarity of stones in a clear stream.
In yellow gold it radiates with full golden intensity — the most vivid expression of Prithvi’s abundance: the earth at its most generous, the ground at its most golden. Whichever metal you choose, the organic form holds its sacred depth.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each Prahimee Pendant was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing.
The organic oval and circle forms demand digital modeling: every polished oval must be placed in correct relation to the recessed circles, the matte and polished finishes must be applied precisely to the right areas, and the pendant must hang at the correct angle so the face presents fully outward.
Hand-finishing creates both the mirror-polished ovals and the matte recessed surfaces. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
