Neshah Earrings

Organic calligraphic drop earrings in 18k gold, each set with a ruby, sapphire, or diamond. The Neshah Earrings carry the visual tradition of sacred script: the understanding that a well-made stroke is as devotional as the word it forms.
Made to order.
Neshah Earrings draw their name from the sacred calligraphic tradition — the understanding, shared across Hebrew, and Persian cultures, that the written word is not merely a vehicle for meaning but a form of beauty in its own right.
In Persian art, calligraphy is the supreme art form: the revealed word rendered in a script so refined that its curves carry devotional meaning. As a result, Persian calligraphy became the foundational decorative art of the Persian world, appearing on temples, manuscripts, and jewelry.
However, the calligraphic tradition is not exclusively Persian. Hebrew sacred script carries the same quality: the Torah scroll is sacred precisely because each letter is drawn according to precise rules, each one an act of devotion. Furthermore, the calligraphic gesture — the organic stroke that begins with pressure and lifts into a fine descending curve — is the origin of the Neshah Earrings form.
Each drop echoes the final movement of a calligraphic letter: the curve that descends from the word and ends with its own particular grace.
The Design of the Neshah Earrings
The Neshah Earrings translate the organic calligraphic gesture into 18k gold. Each piece is a drop that follows the logic of the brush rather than the ruler — curving, directional, tapering from weight to fineness as it descends.
A gemstone is set within the form: a diamond, ruby, or sapphire that reads as the concentrated point of meaning within the letter. As a result, the Neshah Earrings carry both the visual language of sacred script and the quality of its execution: the sense that something has been made with the full attention of a trained hand.
The Sacred Stroke
The organic calligraphic form is the soul of this design. Specifically, the curve follows the logic of a practiced gesture — the kind of form that only comes from mastery. Worn as drops, the Neshah Earrings descend from the ear with the composed authority of calligraphy on a page: each one complete.
Furthermore, the gemstone at the heart catches the light within the curve of the gold, so the earring reads as both written and illuminated. In this way, the Neshah Earrings carry the quality of sacred script: beautiful first, and then on closer reading, even more beautiful.
Neshah Earrings in 18k Gold and Colored Stones
In rose gold the drop glows with warmth, set with a ruby like red ink on warm parchment. In white gold the Neshah Earrings turn cool and precise, a sapphire reading with the clarity of black script on white ground.
In yellow gold they radiate with full golden intensity, set with a brilliant diamond.
Whichever metal you choose, the calligraphic gesture holds.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each Neshah earring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing. The organic drop demands digital modeling: the curve must taper consistently, the gemstone setting must hold the stone at exactly the right position, and the two earrings must mirror each other with precision.
Hand-finishing polishes every surface to a high shine. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
Like every Friszman MD creation, the Neshah Earrings is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold.
