Dhana Earrings

$0.01

Drop earrings in 18k gold, each holding a ruby, sapphire, or diamond at its base — the treasure made visible. The Dhana earrings are named for the Sanskrit word for wealth and sacred abundance, and for Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess who bestows it.

Made to order in São Paulo in rose, white, or yellow gold.

Description

Dhana earrings take their name from the Sanskrit word ‘dhana’ — meaning wealth, treasure, and the abundance that sustains life.

In Hindu tradition, dhana is not simply material prosperity: it is one of the four aims of human life, a form of divine grace made visible in the world.

The goddess who presides over dhana is Lakshmi — the supreme deity of wealth, fortune, and auspiciousness, consort of Vishnu and one of the most beloved figures in the Hindu pantheon.

She is depicted seated on a lotus, gold coins flowing from her open hand, two white elephants pouring water over her head — each image encoding a different aspect of the abundance she bestows.

In the Vedas she is Shri, the radiant one, the quality of sacred beauty and prosperity that makes a life flourish. The Dhana earrings are named for that idea: wealth understood not as acquisition but as radiance, a quality that fills the world around it.

The Design of the Dhana Earrings

The Dhana earrings translate that idea of sacred abundance into 18k gold and colored stone.

Each piece is a slender, architectural drop that descends from the ear and resolves at its base into a single gemstone — a diamond, ruby, or sapphire that reads as the treasure at the center of the design, the dhana made visible.

The gold above the stone is clean and precise, giving the gemstone a setting of composed elegance rather than ornate decoration: Lakshmi’s gold does not announce itself loudly; it flows. The Dhana earrings are made to be worn as something luminous rather than heavy, an ornament that carries meaning with a light touch.

Abundance and Radiance

The contrast between the clean, elegant gold drop and the living brilliance of the gemstone is the soul of this design — the structure that holds the treasure, the form that makes radiance possible.

Worn against the neck, the Dhana earrings fall with a gentle weight, the stones catching the light and releasing it at the jaw, so the piece seems to glow from within.

No two moments read the same: the gem gathers and throws light as the head turns, so the earrings carry the quality Lakshmi is always said to bring — a warmth and luminosity that extends outward from the wearer.

They are elegant without being opulent, present without being loud.

Dhana Earrings in 18k Gold and Colored Stones

In rose gold the drop glows with warmth, set with a ruby that burns at the base of the earring like the living flame of prosperity.

In white gold the Dhana earrings turn cool and celestial around a sapphire, like clear sky glimpsed through lotus petals.

In yellow gold they radiate full intensity, set with a brilliant diamond — the most direct echo of the gold coins in Lakshmi’s open hand, the most ancient symbol of dhana there is.

Each pairing gives the same elegant form a different register of abundance.

Craftsmanship and 3D Precision

Each Dhana earring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil.

The slender drop demands digital modeling: the proportions must balance the weight of the gemstone so the earring hangs true, the setting must hold the stone securely while remaining visually light, and the two earrings of a pair must mirror one another exactly.

Hand-finishing then polishes the gold to a high shine that makes the metal glow warmly around the stone. This is the kind of precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.

A Made-to-Order Piece

Like every Friszman MD creation, the Dhana earrings are made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold, conceived where mythology, sacred tradition, and sacred geometry meet.
