DreamCatcher Pendant
$0.01
A sacred protective web in 18k gold, its circular form drawn from the dream catchers of the Ojibwe tradition and set with a ruby, sapphire, or diamond at its heart. The DreamCatcher pendant is a talisman of quiet protection — beauty held in the form of a boundary.
Made to order in São Paulo in rose, white, or yellow gold.
DreamCatcher pendant draws its form and its meaning from the dreamcatcher — a sacred protective object of the Ojibwe people, the Anishinaabe nation of the Great Lakes region.
In Ojibwe tradition, a dreamcatcher is a handmade hoop of willow strung with a web of sinew. It is hung above where a person sleeps. The web filters the night air as it passes through. Bad dreams become caught in the web and dissolve in the morning light.
Good dreams find their way through the opening at the center and travel down to the dreamer. Because the dreamcatcher works while the wearer sleeps, it is understood as a form of protection that does not ask anything of the person it protects. It simply watches and filters, quiet and constant.
This DreamCatcher pendant carries that same intention into 18k gold.
The Design of the DreamCatcher Pendant
The DreamCatcher pendant translates the sacred circle into gold. The round hoop of the traditional dreamcatcher becomes a fine circular frame. Within it, a web of gold thread radiates from the center outward, its lines crossing and connecting in the pattern of the woven sinew.
At the heart of the web sits a single gemstone — a diamond, ruby, or sapphire — which marks the central opening through which only good things pass. As a result, the pendant reads as both jewellery and amulet: beautiful from a distance, meaningful on close inspection.
Therefore, the DreamCatcher pendant is a piece that carries something more than its own form.
Protection and Intention
The circular form of the dreamcatcher has always meant completeness — a boundary with no gap, a protection that holds. Worn as a pendant, the DreamCatcher pendant rests close to the body, near the heart rather than above the sleeping head, but the intention is the same.
Specifically, it is a talisman of quiet protection: something worn to hold a good space around the person who carries it. Furthermore, the gemstone at its center gives the design its focal point — a point of light held within the web, like a dream worth keeping.
The piece is delicate yet structured, open yet protective. In this way, it reflects the original object faithfully.
DreamCatcher Pendant in 18k Gold and Colored Stones
In rose gold the web glows warmly, set with a ruby at the center that reads like a captured ember. In white gold the DreamCatcher pendant turns cool and luminous around a sapphire, the stone reading like still water at the heart of the web.
In yellow gold it radiates with full intensity, set with a brilliant diamond — the clearest point of light in the finest metal. Each combination gives the same protective form a different quality of light.
However, the meaning of the web stays constant: it holds, it filters, it keeps.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each DreamCatcher pendant was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil.
The web demands digital modeling: every line radiating from the center must be consistent in thickness and spacing, the frame must remain perfectly circular, and the setting must hold the gemstone at exactly the right depth. Additionally, the finished piece must carry its visual complexity without feeling heavy.
Hand-finishing polishes every surface to a high shine. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
Like every Friszman MD creation, the DreamCatcher pendant is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold.
It is a piece that connects the wearer to one of the oldest protective traditions in the world.
