Pelee Rings

A sculptural gold band where a river of channel-set stones flows from center to shoulder, powerful, seamless, and inevitable. The Pelee Ring is inspired by the Hawaiian goddess of fire and creation. Available in Yellow Gold with Diamonds, Rose Gold with Rubies, and White Gold with Sapphires.
Pelee Ring takes its name from Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, fire, and creation, one of the most powerful and enduring figures in Polynesian mythology. Legend tells that Pele journeyed by canoe from Tahiti to Hawaiʻi, restless and sovereign, seeking a home worthy of her fire. Though her sister Nāmaka pursued her across the ocean, determined to extinguish her flames, Pele could not be silenced. Defeated in body, her spirit rose and settled forever within the Halemaʻumaʻu crater of Kīlauea, where she lives still, in every column of lava, every plume of steam, every tremor beneath the earth. She is not merely the goddess of the volcano. She is the land itself, and the land is her. Pele is also revered as the goddess of hula, for it was through her sister Hiʻiaka that the first sacred dance was born, movement as powerful and inevitable as the flow of molten rock.
The Pelee Ring is fire given form. A sculptural band of polished gold swells gently at the crown, where a river of round stones flows in a seamless channel setting, graduating from the center outward like lava finding its path downhill, unstoppable, elemental, alive. The stones sit flush and uninterrupted, their brilliance contained within the metal as if held there by volcanic pressure rather than craft. There are no prongs, no interruptions, only the continuous, hypnotic flow of light through gold, the way lava flows through the earth: inevitable, luminous, and entirely its own.
The Pelee Ring tapers with fluid confidence on both sides, smooth and inevitable on the finger. It feels as natural as it looks deliberate, wide enough to make a statement, refined enough to wear every day. The transition from the stone-set crown to the polished shank is seamless, a single unbroken gesture from bold to elegant, the same gesture Pele makes when fire becomes stone and stone becomes island.
In Yellow Gold with Diamonds, the Pelee Ring burns with golden brilliance, radiant and commanding, the warmth of the metal amplifying the fire of the stones in a combination that feels entirely solar, entirely Pele. In Rose Gold with Rubies, it becomes volcanic and passionate, deep red stones glowing like embers against warm metal, the combination most directly connected to the molten earth at the heart of the goddess’s mythology. In White Gold with Sapphires, it is cool and sovereign, blue stones moving across the band like a wave frozen in precious metal, the ocean that could not extinguish the fire, made permanent in gold.
The Pelee Ring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing in São Paulo, Brazil. The channel setting that runs across the crown, stones set flush in a continuous river, graduating in a perfect arc, requires exact engineering. Every stone must sit at precisely the same depth, the channel must follow the curve of the band without interruption, and the transition to the polished shank must be seamless. This is what the Friszman MD process makes possible.
All Friszman MD pieces are made to order in Brazil, crafted individually and finished by hand. Production takes between four and six weeks. Please refer to our Ring Size Guide before placing your order, Friszman MD uses inner diameter measurements in millimeters to ensure the perfect fit.
The Pelee Ring does not ornament the hand. It transforms it, the way Pele transforms everything she touches, leaving something new and permanent where there was nothing before.
