A triangle pendant in 18k gold, set with a ruby, sapphire, or diamond at its heart. The Nyamh Pendant is named for Niamh of the Golden Hair — the Irish princess of Tir na Nog who offered the hero Oisin everything that does not end, held in the most stable form that exists.

Made to order.

Description

Nyamh Pendant takes its name from Niamh — Niamh Chinn Oir, Niamh of the Golden Hair, the princess of Tir na Nog in Irish mythology. Tir na Nog is the Land of Eternal Youth: an island paradise in the western sea where no one ages, no one suffers, and beauty is the permanent condition of existence.

Niamh appeared to the hero Oisin on a white horse that could ride across the sea, inviting him to come with her. As a result, Oisin departed and lived in Tir na Nog for what seemed like three years of perfect happiness.

However, he missed his own world and asked to return. Niamh gave him her white horse and warned him: do not touch the ground of Ireland. When Oisin arrived and saw how everything had changed — three hundred years had passed — he fell from the horse.

The moment he touched the ground, three hundred years descended upon him at once. Furthermore, the tragedy is not merely that he lost immortality. It is that Niamh gave him everything she had, warned him of the exact thing that would undo it, and still he could not hold.

The Nyamh Pendant carries the form of that gift: the triangle, the most stable of all geometric forms, as the shape of what Niamh offered.

The Design of the Nyamh Pendant

The Nyamh Pendant translates Niamh’s gift into 18k gold. The form is a triangle — precise, self-contained, and complete: a shape that does not need anything added to be resolved.

A gemstone is set at the heart: a diamond, ruby, or sapphire that reads as the concentrated light of Tir na Nog itself, the eternal brightness at the center of the form.

As a result, the Nyamh Pendant carries both the geometric clarity of the triangle and the mythological weight of what it represents: the most stable form, holding the most unstable gift.

The Triangle of Eternal Youth

The triangle with its gemstone is the soul of this design. Specifically, the three sides create a visual completeness that no other polygon quite replicates — a form both simple and irreducible, the way Tir na Nog is both simple and irreducible in the imagination.

Worn close to the body, the Nyamh Pendant hangs with composed, downward-pointing authority. Furthermore, the gemstone at the centre catches the light within the clean gold frame, so the stone seems to glow from within the geometric form.

In this way, the pendant carries Niamh’s quality: the brightness that does not diminish, the gift that is complete from the moment it is given.

Nyamh Pendant in 18k Gold and Colored Gemstones

In rose gold the triangle glows with warmth, set with a ruby that burns at its heart like the perpetual fire of Tir na Nog. In white gold the Nyamh Pendant turns cool and luminous, a sapphire reading with the blue of the western sea that Niamh crossed.

In yellow gold it radiates with full golden intensity, a brilliant diamond at the centre — the clearest expression of the eternal brightness Niamh carried from her world. Whichever stone you choose, the triangle holds its completeness.

Craftsmanship and 3D Precision

Each Nyamh Pendant was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing. The triangle demands digital modeling: every angle must be precisely equal so the form reads as geometrically resolved, the gemstone setting must place the stone at exactly the visual centre, and the pendant must hang true so the point faces down and the face presents forward.

Hand-finishing polishes every surface to a mirror shine. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.

A Made-to-Order Piece

Like every Friszman MD creation, the Nyamh Pendant is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold.
