Teeshe Earrings

Oval stud earrings in 18k gold with a sacred geometric triangular interior, their pattern unifying the ancient geometric languages of Ndebele, Kente, Celtic, Egyptian, and Hindu tradition.
Made to order.
Teeshe Earrings draw their geometry from the most universal of all sacred forms: the triangle, the shape that appears independently across virtually every ancient tradition in the world as a carrier of sacred meaning.
In the Ndebele tradition of South Africa and Zimbabwe, the triangle is the foundational unit of one of the most visually distinctive geometric arts in the world — the bold, precise, color-saturated patterns that cover Ndebele houses and bead work, whose triangular forms and stepped patterns have been passed from mother to daughter for generations as a form of living cultural continuity.
In the Kente weaving tradition of the Akan people of Ghana, geometric patterns carry specific meanings encoded in their forms: each pattern is a text in a visual language, and the triangular elements within the weave carry their own significance within the larger composition.
As a result, the triangle in the African geometric tradition is not merely decoration but communication — a form that says something specific to those who know how to read it. Furthermore, the same triangular sacred geometry appears in Hindu yantras — the geometric diagrams used in meditation and ritual, where interlocking triangles describe the relationship between the divine masculine and feminine principles.
It appears in Egyptian architecture as the pyramid, the most stable solid form, pointing upward toward the solar disc. It appears in Celtic knotwork as the triskele’s three-armed symmetry and in the pattern of interlaced triangles. The Teeshe Earrings carry the triangular geometry that every tradition found and understood as fundamental.
The Design of the Teeshe Earrings
The Teeshe Earrings translate the universal triangular sacred geometry into 18k gold. Each piece is a clean oval stud — a composed, self-contained form — whose interior carries a geometric pattern of triangles: the sacred shapes arranged in their traditional relationship, creating an interior of matte and light contrasts that reads as both ancient and precise.
As a result, the Teeshe Earrings carry the geometry of multiple traditions simultaneously, without belonging exclusively to any one of them.
The Sacred Triangle
The triangular geometric interior is the soul of this design. Specifically, the triangles within the oval create a surface of visual energy — the sharp angles of the triangle reading as directed and intentional within the composed oval frame.
Worn as studs, the Teeshe Earrings present the geometric face forward with the quiet authority of a sacred sign. Furthermore, the matte finish of the triangular interior contrasts with the polished oval frame, so the sacred geometry reads as distinct and contained. In this way, the Teeshe Earrings carry the essential quality of the universal triangle: the form that every tradition found and understood as a carrier of meaning.
Teeshe Earrings in 18k Gold
In rose gold the oval stud and its triangular interior glow with warmth, the matte geometric pattern reading vivid against the polished frame. In white gold the Teeshe Earrings turn cool and precise, the sacred geometry reading with the architectural clarity of line in pale light. In yellow gold they radiate with full golden intensity — the universal triangle in the most vivid material, the sacred form at its most present.
Whichever metal you choose, the geometry holds its meaning.
Craftsmanship and 3D Precision
Each Teeshe earring was developed in 3D modeling software and brought to life through precision 3D printing and meticulous hand-finishing. The oval stud with its triangular interior demands digital modeling: the triangular elements must be placed with mathematical precision so the sacred geometry reads as intentional, the matte interior must contrast cleanly with the polished frame, and the two earrings of a pair must mirror each other exactly.
Hand-finishing creates both the matte and polished surfaces. This is the precision that only the Friszman MD process can deliver reliably.
A Made-to-Order Piece
Like every Friszman MD creation, the Teeshe Earrings is made to order and hand-finished in 18k gold.
